Neil report....
Today's the day we talk about the saltwater fish, such as the butterflyfish.

The first fish. The Razorfish Aeoliscus strigatus is a weird-looking member of the seahorse family, Hippocampidae. It looks like a silver Lysmata debelius shrimp with a chocolate-brown/black stripe. But a closer look reveals that it's a fish, and it isn't even related to a Lysmata debelius...
In fact, it eats shrimp.
The second fish. The Bank Butterflyfish Roa aya is a butterflyfish from the family Chaetodontidae. Bank because this perciform lives close to the shore. Specimens of a similar species of Roa have been found in a cold-water barrier reef off the coast of Long Island, New York. They eat Caulerpa algae.
The third fish. Wow! The Molly Mollienisia sphenops isn't exactly a saltwater fish; but it can enter saltwater. This is the the with the Guppy Acanthocephalus reticulatus. It's popular in aquariums, and it's very simple to keep.
The fourth fish. The Pilot Fish Naucrates ductor is a small Jack, growing to just 1 ft. in length. It ''pilots'' sharks and other big fish, e.g., the Porae Nemodactylus douglas, a species of fish from the morwong family. By ''pilots'', I mean it guides them around, scavenging for scraps of food the huge fish left, or maybe the fish's annoying parasites! Pilot Fish are a pretty golden with chocolate-brown stripes.
The fifth fish. The Blue-green Chromis Pristotis viridis is common on reefs as far north as Florida! Blue-green Chromis eat small shrimp.

The next Favorite is a silly recreational quiz...
